Martin Åkerwall   In 2005 Hans Martin Åkerwall founded euhma - a cello/piano constellation in which he gathered all his inspiration and creativity as composer. In just one year he produced and composed over 3 hours of euhma music.

In pieces like Lovers first touch, An angles siesta, The Lover`s Faith and drifting moons the concept of the euhma music appear with simplicity and ease unusually raw, transparent and deliberating.

Together with Eugene Hye-Knudsen, cello concertmaster in Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, he has managed to fill many of Denmark's larger churches with their concerts. His euhma music has been played on radio at home and abroad. The debut album was released in september 2007.

Beside his euhma project Hans Martin Åkerwall has recieved commisions as composer from the Royal Theatre of Copenhagen, Aalborg Symphony Orchestra and for a string of Danish chamber musicians. He has tried his hand at music for films and plays and his music has been played at concerts and festivals in Denmark, England, France, Sweden and Finland.
